squiggleboldXL

If you've got a Panasonic CX400B TV that's turning itself on or off, or has the volume stuck at 100%, this guide will show you how to get it sorted.

To get it working, you'll have to update the software on your TV.

Updating the TV

To update on the TV itself, it'll need to be connected to the internet. If your TV isn't connected, you can try the steps below to use a USB stick. Unplug everything from the TV before starting, and then use your remote to press these buttons.

1.

Press menu > Setup.

2.

Press More, then Software upgrade.

3.

Click Scan for Upgrade.

4.

Your TV screen will go blank, and the LED at the bottom will flash while the upgrade goes through. It can take up to 10 minutes.

Once the upgrade is done, the TV will turn back on. Give it a test to see if the problem is fixed.
