ZTE Blade V7 - using it

We've written this guide to help you get to grips with the basics of using your ZTE Blade V7. We cover everything you need to know to make calls, send messages, and more.

1. Making phone calls

Anything call-related is done through the Phone menu, which can be found in the bottom-left of the Home screen. You can move the icon if you like by holding your finger on it and dragging it to a new location.

Open the phone menu.

Press the blue circle and enter a number, or type the name of a contact into the box at the top.

You can also use the tabs below the white box to view your favourite contacts, recent callers, or your address book.

With the number of a contact on screen, press the green phone to start the call.

You can add new contacts by pressing the blue circle at the bottom, typing a phone number, and then pressing Create new contact.

2. Sending texts & multimedia messages (MMS)

There are two types of text message - normal text-only messages, and MMS which have text and pictures. Before you send a picture-message, it's worth checking with your service provider if you'll be charged extra, as sometimes they aren't included in your monthly allowance.

Before you can send emails, you need to have set up your email accounts. If you followed our Blade V7 Setup Guide, you'll already be ready to go.
