To send emails from the Xperia Z5 you need to have already set up your accounts on the phone. If you haven't done this yet, you can find out how to in our setup guide.

You can use the Xperia Z5 to wake you up in the morning using its Alarm function.
Open the Clock app. You can do this by tapping the big clock on the Home screen if it's still there, or by opening the apps list and selecting the Clock icon
The tabs across the top of the app open the Alarms, World Clock, Stopwatch, and Timer functions respectively. Alarms should be open by default, but if it's not, just tap the alarm icon on the left.
To set a new alarm, tap the green circle in the bottom-right corner.
Set the time, what days the alarms goes off on, the alarm tone, volume, and snooze duration using the menus.

The tips below explain a couple of handy features that can help you increase the phone's battery life and reduce data usage on the go.
While the Xperia Z5 has a pretty good battery life, you can increase it in the 'Power Management' menu.
To find it, open the phone settings (the app icon is shaped like a cog) and click Power Management. This menu has a few features that you can activate to reduce battery consumption:
Stamina Mode stops apps running in the background from accessing the internet. You can still get on the internet in this mode, you just won't receive notifications from web-based apps until you open them. It also lowers the backlight amount and doesn't automatically play videos on websites.
Ultra Stamina Mode turns off mobile data, Wi-Fi, and stops widgets from running on the Home screen. It effectively turns off the 'smart' part of the phone, and only enables calls and text messages.
The Xperia Z5 has a data usage monitor, which allows you to check how much mobile data you've used and automatically turn it off if you go over your allowance.
To set it up, open Apps > Settings > Data usage.
Set the time that your data is valid for each month and drag the bar up and down to set the warning notification. If you turn the 'Set mobile data limit' switch on, you can select a limit that when hit, turns off your mobile internet connection until your allowance is refreshed.
Below the chart is a breakdown of how much data each function and app uses, so you can see which ones are using the most data and make adjustments to your usage.
