To download apps or games, go on the internet or add an email account, you'll need to have a connection. Your P8 Lite can connect using Wi-Fi or mobile data - here are the steps to check them.

2.

Press and hold the Wi-Fi button to open the Wi-Fi settings.

3.

Check that the switch is turned on at the top - tap if it's not.

4.

Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to, and type the password for it. If you're not sure what this is, it's normally on your router.

5.

Press Connect. If this works, you should see the word 'Connected' under your Wi-Fi, and you'll get the Wi-Fi signal bars at the top of the screen.

Your P8 Lite will always try and use Wi-Fi instead of mobile data, so turn this off first.
