Deleting a message thread

A 'message thread' is all of the messages sent between you and a contact. Your phone has plenty of space for thousands of messages, but you might want to remove old ones every now and then.

To delete a message thread:

1.

Open the Messages app from the Home screen.

2.

Press and hold on the message thread you want to delete until a tick shows next to it.

3.

Tap the bin icon at the bottom to delete the message thread.

You might be asked to resize pictures or attachments to reduce the size of the message. Smaller emails will send more quickly, and use less data, but the attachments might not look as good. Choose Original or one of the other sizes to continue.

5.

To send the email, tap the arrow in the top-right corner.
