Kit Guide - How to defrost a frozen washing machine

If your washing machine is kept in a garage or outdoors, there's a chance it might freeze in winter. In this guide, we'll go through some steps to sort it if it happens to you.

Defrosting your washing machine

Unplug the machine from the power.

2.

Loosen the water supply hose by pouring some warm water over it.

3.

Once it's loose, unplug the hose and soak it in warm water.

4.

Pour some warm water into the drum and let it soak in for about 10 minutes.


5.

Re-attach the water supply hose and check if the water’s flowing and draining properly.
