If the bulb in your fridge freezer has stopped working, it probably just needs to be replaced. Here's how it's done.
Switch the fridge freezer off at the mains and remove all the contents.
Remove the old bulb from its socket, this should involve a simple twist and turn, similar to removing a normal light bulb from a ceiling fitting.
Look at the bulb and make a note of the type of bulb, and power voltage. You can get replacement parts from Partmaster.
Before replacing the bulb, wipe the fridge down with an antibacterial spray, then make sure it's completely dry.
Insert the new bulb by pushing it into the slot, then carefully twisting clockwise until it clicks into place.
Switch the mains back on, and check that the bulb works.
Before replacing the items in your fridge or freezer, be aware that it may take up to 24 hours to reach the right temperature.
