To start sending emails, you'll need to have the email account set up on the Galaxy Tab E. If you haven't done it yet, our Setup Guide can help you with it.
Open your Inbox and tap the pen and paper icon at the top.
Put the person's email address in the 'To' box, then add a Subject under it.
Write your email in the main box, then press Send at the top when you're ready (it's the envelope with the arrow on it).
Tap the compose button. This is a white pen-and-paper icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Write your email, then tap the paper clip at the top and choose what it is you're adding.
Look through your files and tap the ones you want.
You'll see a preview of the file added to your email. Press Send when you're happy with it.
User accounts give people their own space to use on the tablet. It's really useful if the tablet is shared with other family members, because finding your apps have moved or your wallpaper has changed can be annoying. Here's how to set new users up.
Open the Settings and go to Users.
Tap Add user or profile to choose who to add. A restricted profile lets you choose what apps that user can have.
Press OK after reading the information.
The first time they use their account, they'll need to go through the 'Setup Wizard'. Press Set up now if you know their details, or Not now for a blank profile. For a restricted profile, you'll see a list of all the apps installed on the Tab E. Tick each app to let the account use it.
To keep your tablet running at its best, the Galaxy Tab E has its own 'Smart Manager'. This app lets you free up your memory and battery, and keeps your tablet secure.
Tap on the Apps icon at the bottom of your Home screen, then go to Smart Manager.
For a quick way to clean everything up, tap Clean all at the bottom. To see the individual settings for each one, tap 'Battery', 'Storage' or 'Ram'.
To use the 'Device security', you need to have signed in with a Samsung account.
