Kit Guide: Upgrading Microsoft Office 365

If you subscribe to Office 365, this guide shows you how to upgrade to the latest version.  

Upgrading Office

1.

Open a web browser, and sign into your Office account at office.com/myaccount.

2.

Click Install, then click Install again on the right.

3.

The latest version of the Microsoft Office installer will start downloading. When the installer download finishes, click on it to get it started.

4.

When the installer opens, follow the prompts to get the latest version of Office. You might be told your old version will be removed, and won't be usable after the upgrade is complete.

Leave it to install, and when it's done, you'll be able to use the newer version of Office. When you first open it, you'll be shown an intro video explaining some of the newer features.
