When you first put the wireless receiver that comes with the mouse into the computer, 'pairing mode' starts and lasts for 60 seconds.
To set up your wireless keyboard and mouse:
Take the plastic battery covers off the mouse and keyboard, and put the batteries in.
Turn the mouse and keyboard on. The switches are at the bottom of the mouse and keyboard.
Turn on the computer or laptop.
Put the wireless receiver into your computer
The keyboard and mouse should now pair with the computer.
If the mouse or keyboard still isn't working, try these steps:
Check that the wireless receiver is fully in your computer or laptop.
If the mouse and keyboard have an on or off switch, check it's On.
You might need to replace the batteries or check that they're in properly.
Make sure the mouse and keyboard are within 30 cm of the computer.
Disconnect other gadgets, like printers, USB flash and hard drives, smartphones, speakers, and scanners.
Restart your computer and try to sync the mouse and keyboard again.
If you're still having a problem, try the wireless receiver in another USB port.
Test the mouse and keyboard on another computer.
If it still isn't working then your mouse or keyboard might be broken. You'll need to get in touch with HP or the store to try and get it fixed or replaced.
