Our Team Knowhow experts will contact you the day before delivery to give you a 4 hour delivery time slot. We'll also ring 30 minutes before to confirm delivery arrival. Your new product will be delivered to the room of your choice.
In all cases we can remove the packaging for you and take away your old product to save you the time.
Large products such as plasma TVs and some other large screen TVs are generally delivered by our Team Knowhow delivery teams. Here’s what you need to know:
On some products, we offer the option to order an item in advance if it’s not in stock at the time, but we know that more stock is on its way and we will let you know the date we expect delivery to be available on the site. If you purchase two or more products at a time, they may have different availabilities and methods of delivery, in which case you may receive your items individually as soon as they become available.
Please be aware that we cannot offer VAT refunds to overseas customers ordering goods to be delivered. We do everything we can to ensure our delivery times are met but sometimes delays do occur with deliveries during peak ordering periods. We will let you know if we become aware of any unexpected delays.
Before we arrive, we would ask that you ensure that the old appliance is in a fit state to be taken away by us.
If you haven’t opted for an installation service but would like your old one taken away, no problem. Just make sure you’ve safely disconnected your old appliance before we arrive.Back to top ^

Since 2004, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations have applied in Ireland. The regulations were introduced to reduce the amount of untreated waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) going to landfill and to ensure that equipment collected separately is dealt with properly.
All new electrical and electronic equipment we sell at Currys and PC World stores can be recycled. You can tell because our products include a ‘crossed out wheeled bin symbol’.
Even if your old product doesn’t have the ‘crossed out wheeled bin’ symbol, the good news is we’ll gladly accept and recycle your old electrical and electronic equipment to the best of our ability.
Recycling unwanted electrical products is better for the environment. Lead and other toxins contained in electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a very harmful effect on the natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. When situated near populated areas these toxins can cause problems to communities as their water and soil is polluted.
Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill.
