What to do before making a claim

To make a claim for accidental damage or if you phone is faulty, you’ll need to bring your device into your closest Carphone Warehouse or Currys PC World store. You can find your closest one using our Store Locator.

Before you head into a store, you should make sure you’ve got a backup of your data from your phone, if possible. Have a look at the guides below for help on backing up your phone:

How to make a claim

You can start your claim by heading to a Carphone Warehouse or Currys PC World store. Make sure you’ve got these bits handy:

  • Your personal details
  • Your Protection Plan number (shown on your certificate)
  • Purchase date of the handset

Also, make sure you take your SIM card and any memory cards out of your phone before handing it in.
