Co-operative Mobile APN settings

Your phone should automatically download the mobile data settings from the network, but if it didn't, you might need to enter them manually. This guide will help you get it sorted - the settings might look complicated, but don't worry, we'll take you through them step by step.

Android APN settings for Co-operative Mobile

From your Home screen, tap the Menu button.

2.

Tap Settings Wireless and networks or More (depending on the version of Android you're using).

3.

Tap Mobile Networks Access point names.

4.

Tap the Menu button, then New APN, and enter the following information into the form:

  • In the Name box, type Co-op Internet
  • Type tslpaymnet (if you're on Pay As You Go - tslpaygnet), in the APN box
  • In the box labeled MMSC, type http://mms/
  • Enter 193.35.133.194 in the MMS Proxy box
  • Type 8080 in the MMS Port box
  • Enter PAP in the Authentication type box 
  • If you're given a choice, choose internet+mms. Or if the keyboard appears enter *
5.

Tap the Menu button, then tap Save.

6.

Make sure that the new APN is switched on (it should have a tick in the box, or a dot in the circle).

7.

Check the notification bar for a H, 3G, E or G, this shows that you're connected to mobile data.

iPhone APN settings for Co-operative Mobile

Tap the Settings icon from your Home screen.

2.

Tap either Mobile Data or Cellular Data (depending on your mobile network).

3.

Tap on Mobile Data Options then choose Mobile Data Network or Cellular Data Network.

4.

Enter the following information into the form:

Enter the Mobile/Cellular Data settings

  • In the APN box, type tslpaymnet (if you're on Pay As You Go - tslpaygnet)

Enter the Visual Voicemail settings

  • Type tslmms in the APN box 
  • In the MMSC, type http://mms/
  • Enter 193.35.133.194:8080 in the tslmms box
  • In the box labelled MMS Max Message Size type 1048576
5.

Tap the left arrow at the top three times, then tap the Home button.

6.

At the top of the screen, look for 3G, E or GPRS. This means the data connection is working.

BlackBerry 10 APN settings for Co-operative Mobile

Enter the internet APN settings

1.

Swipe down from the top edge of the Home screen.

2.

Tap Settings > Network Connections Mobile Network.

3.

Tap APN, then tap the Mobile Plan selector, and choose Contract or Prepay (depending on what type of mobile plan you have).

4.

Enter tslpaymnet (if you're on Pay As You Go - tslpaygnet) in the Access Point Name box.

5.

Tap Save in the top right corner.

6.

You'll know it's worked if you see 3G, H, E or G next to the signal bars at the top of the screen.

Enter the MMS APN settings

1.

From your Home screen, swipe left-to-right.

2.

Tap Menu (3 dots) > Settings > Text Messages.

3.

Tap Advanced, then scroll down past the SMS Settings, and enter the following details:

  • In the box labelled APN, type tslmms
  • In the MMSC URL box, type http://mms/
  • Type 193.35.133.194:8080 in the Proxy URL box
4.

Tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

Windows Phone APN settings for Co-operative Mobile

Windows 10

1.

Swipe left across the Home screen to open the Apps list.

2.

Tap Settings Network & wireless Mobile & SIM.

3.

Tap SIM settings > + Add an internet APN.

4.

Without changing any other settings, enter the following information into the relevant boxes:

  • In the Profile name box, enter Co-Op Internet
  • Type tslpaymnet (if you're on Pay As you Go - tslpaygnet) in the APN box
5.

Tick the box to Use this APN for LTE.

6.

Scroll to the bottom and tap Save, then tap +Add MMS APN.

7.

Type these settings into the form:

  • In the Profile name box, type Co-Op MMS
  • Enter tslmms in the APN box
  • Type 193.35.133.194 in the Proxy server box
  • In the Proxy port, enter 8080
  • Type http://mms/ in the MMSC (URL) box
  • In the box labelled Maximum MMS size, type 1048576
8.

Tap Save.

9.

Check the top of the screen for 3G, H, E or G. This shows you're connected to mobile data.

Windows 8.1

1.

From your Apps list, go to Settings > cellular + SIM or Mobile + SIM (depending on your network).

2.

Make sure your data connection is switched on, then scroll down and tap SIM settings.

3.

Tap edit Internet APN (on some phones this option is in a different place. If you don't see it, go to the main settings menu, and tap access point.

4.

In the APN box, type tslpaymnet (if you're on Pay As you Go - tslpaygnet).

5.

Tap the Save icon.

6.

Tap edit MMS APN and enter these settings into the form:

  • In the APN box, type tslmms
  • Enter 193.35.133.194 in the box labelled WAP gateway (URL)
  • Where it says WAP gateway port, enter 8080
  • Type http://mms/ in the MMSC (URL) box
7.

Tap the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Windows 8

1.

Swipe across the Home screen to open the apps list.

2.

Tap the Settings app.

3.

Tap Mobile network and ensure the data connection is switched on.

4.

From the apps list, scroll down and tap on Settings, then tap on Access point.

5.

If your network is listed, tap it to make it active, otherwise tap add.

6.

Without changing any other settings, enter the following details into the on screen form:

  • In the box labelled Connection name, enter Co-op Internet

Internet APN settings

  • In the Access point name box, type tslpaymnet (if PAYG - tslpaygnet)

MMS APN settings

  • Type tslmms in the box labelled Access point name
  • In the Proxy address box, enter 193.35.133.194
  • Enter 8080 in the Proxy port box
  • In the MMSC address box, type http://mms/
7.

Tap the tick at the bottom on the screen to save the settings.

8.

To confirm that you now have an active data connection, you should see 3G, H, E or G at the top of the display.

Internet APN settings

1.

From your Home screen, tap Menu.

2.

Tap Configuration Personal settings Options.

3.

Tap Add new Web.

4.

Tap Account name, enter Co-op Internet and tap OK.

5.

Tap Homepage, enter http://m.google.com and tap OK.

6.

Tap Use pref. acc. pt. and tap No.

7.

Tap Acc point sett, then tap Bearer settings.

8.

Tap Pack. data acc. pt., type tslpaymnet (if PAYG - tslpaygnet) and tap OK.

9.

Tap Back three times.

10.

Hold your finger on Co-op Internet, then tap Activate.

11.

Tap Back, > Def. config. sett Personal config.

12.

Tap Default, then tap Back twice to go back to your Home screen.

13.

You'll know it's worked if if you see 3G, H, E or G at the top of the screen.

MMS APN

1.

Tap the Menu icon from your Home screen.

2.

Tap Configuration Personal settings > Options.

3.

Tap Multimedia msg Account name, and enter Co-op MMS then tap OK.

4.

Tap Server address, enter http://mms/ and tap OK.

5.

Tap Use pref. acc. pt. and tap No.

6.

Tap Acc point sett.

7.

Tap Proxy, then tap Enable.

8.

Tap Proxy address, enter 193.35.133.194 and tap OK.

9.

Tap Proxy port, enter 8080 and tap OK.

10.

Tap Bearer settings Pack. data acc. pt. and enter tslmms then tap OK.

11.

Tap Back three times.

12.

Hold your finger on the name Co-op MMS then tap Activate.

13.

Tap Back Def. config. sett. > Personal config.

14.

Tap Default and tap Back twice to go back to the Home screen.
