Knowhow Cloud Manager - Settings

The settings menu lets you manage your account, add or remove drives, change your password, and choose how files are uploaded from your phone.

You can open it by tapping the cog icon in the top right hand corner of the Home screen.

My Drives

This section lets you add or remove Cloud drives, accounts, and local drives.

To add a new drive, tap the pink Add a drive bar at the bottom of the screen and type the account details into the form.

To remove one, press the name of the drive and tap Remove drive.

Uploads

Here, you can upload files from your phone to one of your Cloud accounts.

Upload new contents: Turning this on automatically adds any new content from your phone to the Cloud. It works as soon as you take a photo or save a document.

Media to upload: This lets you change the types of file that are automatically uploaded. Just untick the circle next to any file type you don’t want to back-up.

Upload destination: You can choose which folder certain types of file appear in. If you’d rather not worry about it, you can press ‘Let the app decide’ for it to happen automatically.

Photo upload size: If you want to reduce the amount of space your photos take up, you can choose to back them up at a lower quality than they were originally taken in.

Upload new content only via WiFi: Choose this if you only want Knowhow Cloud to back-up your documents when the phone’s connected to Wi-Fi. If you don't choose this, you might end up using a lot of your data if the phone backs up a lot of photos or a video.

Offline Files

You can save files offline to view them when you’re not connected to the internet. This lets you choose which ones you want to see offline.

Press the Cache files box to keep a local copy of any future uploads and view them whenever you want.

But if you want to edit or share files, you’ll need to connect to the internet.

My Account

This menu lets you change the password or email address your account uses. Just tap the options and follow the instructions to change your details.

Manage devices

You can use Cloud Manager on three separate phones at once. You can remove devices by tapping the one you want to delete and pressing Deactivate.

You can also deactivate the one you’re currently using.
